“It was a wonderful day for our school—the response from children, teachers, and parents has been amazing. Your visit and message will have a long-lasting impact on our school community for years to come!”
—Margo Keniston Potter, Columbia Preparatory School, NYC
“We have been in a different school since you visited us. Our teachers continue to sing your praises, and our kids ask if they can e-mail you! I want you to know you changed our little corner of the world in an uplifting way, and we are grateful.”
—Anne Blanchard, Principal, Presque Isle Middle School

Important announcement about student presentations.
Due to my increasing teaching commitments, especially with adult audiences and my one-on-one mentoring services, 2026 will be my last year offering presentations to middle and high school students. This was not an easy decision, as teaching emotional wellness and kindness programs to youth has been a major highlight of my career. If you’re interested in booking a date, please contact me soon to reserve a spot for 2025 or 2026. Personal/professional development presentations will still be available for teachers and staff members and can be found on the speaking page.

Student Assemblies & Workshops
Designed for grades six through twelve, these presentations aim to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health while encouraging students to view themselves and others from a more compassionate perspective. The day begins with an assembly, during which I share stories of overcoming adversity and emphasize the benefits of choosing a life centered on empathy and kindness. Depending on the school schedule, this typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour.
Follow-up visits to classrooms (or meetings with smaller groups) can be conducted after the main talk, or you may opt to hold a Q&A session instead. These gatherings are optional, but they present a great opportunity to:
Inspire open conversations about mental health and navigating challenging times.
Encourage students to share their own stories to foster meaningful peer-to-peer connections.
Discuss ideas for creating a kinder, more positive school environment.
Learn new skills to manage stress and anxiety.
Discover how helping others and daily acts of kindness are keys to authentic happiness.
